PDO Threading/Face Lift
PDO Threading is used for the smoothing of skin, wrinkles, and non-surgical face lifts. PDO stands for polydioxanone. The threads are biodegradable polydioxanone (polyester) sutures. The PDO threads have been successfully used for many decades in cardiac surgery. The PDO threads were introduced, after many successful years of use in cardiac surgery, into body esthetics. They have been found to be particularly successful in the treatment of wrinkles, crepe skin, and the lifting of skin.
Common areas of treatment include:
● Face
● Forehead
● Around eyes
● Glabella region
● Cheeks
● Jowls
● Lips (lip outline and plumping)
● Nasolabial lines
● Marionette lines
● Neck
● Décolleté
When lifting skin, there is an immediate improvement that continues to improve over the next 4-6 weeks post treatment.
The smoothing of skin typically takes 4-6 weeks post treatment to see the optimal result.
Even though there may be a short waiting period for optimal results, the results can last up to 3 years depending on one’s metabolism.
Typically, results are 1 year plus post treatment.

The following are advantages to PDO threading treatment:
●
No incisions: you’re back to life rapidly.
